How do you handle "warping" on a spherical surface?
Designing on a flat screen is different than a 3D ball. Our proprietary mapping software automatically adjusts your uploaded graphics to account for the curvature of the ball. This ensures your logos don't look "stretched" or distorted once they are printed onto the panels.
Can I request a specific pantone match for my brand?
Yes. While our online builder uses RGB for display, our production team can print to specific Pantone (PMS) codes. If your corporate or team branding requires an exact color match, simply include the PMS codes in the "Notes" section of your order.
Does the ink add weight or change the aerodynamics of the ball?
Not at all. The ink we use is a high-tech, ultra-thin polymer that bonds into the material rather than sitting as a heavy layer on top. The ball retains its original balance, weight, and "true flight" characteristics required for competitive play.
How does the "grip" feel on a fully printed basketball?
This is the most common concern. We use a translucent grip-textured finish over the print. This ensures that even if 100% of the ball is covered in ink, you still get that "tacky" feel of premium composite leather rather than a slick or plastic sensation.
Is the custom baseball meant for "Game Use" or just display?
Our baseballs are built to official weight and cork-core specs. While they are fully playable, high-velocity impact with a bat (100mph+) can eventually scuff any printed leather surface. Most clients use our Full-Wrap designs for awards or ceremonies, and our Focused Imprints for actual game play.
Can I split my bulk order into different designs?
Our bulk pricing is based on the total quantity, but we understand teams often need individual names or numbers. We offer Variable Data Printing (VDP), allowing you to keep the same base design across 50 balls while changing the name or jersey number on each one for a small setup fee.
Do you offer digital proofs before the physical ball is made?
While our 3D builder gives you a great real-time preview, our design team performs a manual file check on every order. If we notice your resolution is too low or a logo is cut off by a seam, we will pause production and email you a digital proof for approval.
What happens if the ball loses air during shipping?
To protect the integrity of the custom print and the internal bladder during transit, we ship all balls partially or fully inflated in protective cradles. If a ball arrives flat or won't hold air, it’s covered under our "Flawless Bounce" guarantee and will be replaced immediately.
